Developed by Netpak Ambalaj through extensive R&D, the Longitudinally Reinforced Carrier Bag is an innovative carrying solution that combines durability, load safety, resource efficiency, and reusability.
Its specially developed longitudinal reinforcement structure distributes the stress generated around the handle area more evenly across the body and base of the bag. This enables high carrying performance without the need for excessive material use.
While a standard die-cut handle carrier bag weighing 44 g per bag can carry up to 10 kg, and a reinforced die-cut handle carrier bag weighing 49 g per bag can carry up to 15 kg, the Longitudinally Reinforced Carrier Bag achieves a carrying capacity of up to 30 kg with a weight of only 48 g per bag.
This innovative design stands out not only for its high carrying capacity but also for its extended service life. Compared with standard solutions that offer approximately 30–45 uses, this product has been developed to be reused up to an average of 60 times. The result is higher performance and a longer service life with less material.
Its ability to be manufactured from recycled materials helps reduce resource consumption and supports the circular economy. Its durable structure allows the same bag to be used repeatedly, helping to reduce reliance on single-use products.
Developed through Netpak Ambalaj’s R&D expertise and Ultrapak Makina technology, the product received a WorldStar Packaging Award for its innovative design. This internationally recognised solution is now available through mass-production infrastructure and can be customised with brand-specific colours, printing, and design options.
